Weekly update 9/3/08
Update from the license branch.
Apparently it doesn't mater what country you are in lines at the license branch are long. If you read last weeks update you will know that I went looking for a car last week. While looking at the car I found out that I was wrong in my belief that I could not get a license until I had a missionary visa. The person selling the car was still on a tourist visa and he had a license, so I decided try. Yesterday afternoon I got the process started, but the person who gives approval was out sick and his replacement was in a "bad mood" so I was told to come back today. So today Im back and I think its going to work this time.
Thank you all for your prayers. I praise God for showing me I really can get a license, and also showing us a car that looks like it will be very helpful to us.
Visa status?
Same as last week except that we do have at least one document in process.
Please remember to pray for this process.
Baby status?
Happy and healthy as far as we know. There will be a routine doctors visit next week, and we will know more then.
Language school status.
We have requested a different teacher and a slightly different schedule. Both of these we believe will make things go smoother.
