weekly update 9/2/09
Back in Manila now.
Its hot, the air is polluted, the neighbors dogs have been barking, and there is two weeks of office work to get caught up on, as well as new stuff we generated during the trip. Yep, Vacation is over. While Manila is not our favorite city, it is nice to be back home where things are familiar. This week we get back to language study as well as getting things like this update and our monthly update done.
Another project that should start in earnest this week is that we will be making contacts to begin locking down meetings for our furlough. For a few different reasons we will need to be raising more support while we are back in the States. Please pray for us as we begin this process.
Also pray for Sam (and his parents) as he suffers from attention withdrawal. While on vacation he got almost continuous attention. Now that we are back home he is really not impressed with the idea of having to play by himself some while Mom and Dad get things done. We love him but we cannot hold him continuously.
