Weekly update 9/10/08
Update from home
This week I’m writing the update from home. It was a great week but really not much to report. I did get my drivers license last Wednesday and on Friday we went and picked up our car. Please pray for us as we learn new streets and new ways of doing things here. Some consider driving here completely terrifying. It is different but it really isn’t that bad if you just do things the way others are doing them. So far we are doing fine with traffic but we would still appreciate your prayers as it is very different.
Visa status?
Just waiting on documents from the states

Baby status?
We had our doctors apt. Monday. They did an ultrasound and said all looked fine. They checked all the organs and such and said it seems perfectly normal. Heather had had some routine blood work done last week and they said all the results from that were good also. We did tell the person doing the ultrasound that we didn’t want to know the baby’s gender so they did not check that and so we still don’t know.
Language school status.
We have changed our schedule now and have a new teacher for one day and our original teacher on the other day. This should give us a different perspective and be useful in learning.
