Weekly update 7/2/07
This week in the life of Jeff and Heather:
Following God’s leading.
We e-mailed back and forth with the second family who contacted us, but God pointed out some differences that showed it would not be a good fit for us to work together. We are a little disappointed that that family did not work out but we are also very glad that God showed the reasons very early.
We are still communicating with the other couple in Michigan. God seems to be working with them and might be leading them to work with us. We are still praying for clear leadership from God. We are going to get together with them next Tuesday for a couple of hours to get to know each other better and share more about the Philippines with them.
This week we have a fun trip planned to St Louis. It will be a quick trip but we will drive over on Tuesday and enjoy the St Louis fireworks at the arch downtown. Then spend some time with Heathers family on Wednesday and drive back that evening.
