weekly update 6/4/07
This week in the life of Jeff and Heather:
Safe Travels.
Our trip out to Kansas City went fine. We spent a Sunday with a friendly church out there and were able to minister to and worship with them. Then out meeting in the St Louis area with a youth group was enjoyable. I (Jeff) did play a game with the teens and found out the next day that I am not still 16, but we had a very enjoyable time with the teens there.
On Thursday we drove home from St. Louis and got to spend a few days at home. Then on Sunday we drove back out to Charleston, Ill. Charleston Bible Church is a church that already supports us, but their Pastor was away on Vacation and had asked us to fill in for this past Sunday. While this was not a specific deputation meeting it was a wonderful day of building relationships with a supporting church.
Thank you for your prayers this last 9 days. 1600 miles in 9 days and not even a close call on the interstate, God is very good to us. Thank you all for your prayers.
