Weekly update 5/27/09
Thank you all for your extra prayers last week. Getting Sam added to our visa turned out to be a longer process than anticipated but God was good and we did not have to pay any penalties. Praise God for that.
We have made a choice about our Language training. We decided that we should take some time off from regular classes and put to use what we have already learned so this week is our last week of formal classes for a while. We are planning a variety of activities to help us learn vocabulary and also reinforce the grammar that we have already learned. Please keep praying for our language learning this new phase should be more fun but it will still take a good bit of self motivation to stick with it.
The last thought for the week is please keep praying for God to send us team members. We still do not have any confirmed team members. Jesus himself mourned the lack of laborers and gave His disciples a direct command to pray for God to send forth laborers. Please pray with us about laborers for the Philippine harvest.
