weekly update 5/19/08
This week in the Life of Jeff and Heather.
We have just enjoyed our fourth Sunday with Cross and Crown Baptist church here in Manila. Our apartment is becoming a home. We have the kitchen set up, a plastic table and two plastic chairs in the dining room, the bedroom set up, and the office is functional. This Tuesday morning starts our language school. We will be in class for 2 hours a day for 4 days a week. It will take us about 1.5 hours to get to language school and about 2 hours to get home so there will be lots of study time going and coming. Please pray for our language learning.
Language school will be our first priority and we will be planning everything around it but our next great task will be working on all that is needed to get our mission board recognized in the Philippines so that we can apply for the missionary visas. This promises to be a fairly involved process and we would really appreciate your prayers about it.
