Weekly update 4-4-06
This week in the life of Jeff and Heather, God keeps providing. This past week we received a note from a lady who we met last week at the church we were at. God has moved her to begin supporting us! We are always grateful to see God provide support but we are really excited to see God working in the heart of a fairly new Christian, and then to see them step out on faith. Praise God! This past Sunday was a wonderful day of worship with our home church. It is always nice to spend time with people we know and being close to home makes it a more relaxing weekend. This coming weekend we will be presenting our work in a church in Mentone, In. The town is a good distance from home in spite of the fact that it is still in Indiana. Our meeting is Sunday but we found out that just down the road from where our meeting is another church is having a conference on evangelizing Catholics. Since the Philippines is 80% Catholic we decided it could be a useful event, and the conference is Friday and Saturday, so it does not conflict with our meeting. We have already been offered somewhere to stay for all three nights so we are going to go down and do some learning as well as ministering. We praise God for working out all of this. Certainly not something we could have come up with or planned on our own. Please keep praying for our schedule, support, and team members.
