Weekly update 2/25/09
Update from a bus.
Yes, we still have a car but every car in Metro Manila has one day a week that it cannot be driven therefore, if you have to do something on that day you "commute" meaning you take public transportation. We needed to get the paperwork to apply for Sam’s US citizenship from the us embassy and finding a parking spot there is quite a challenge so I (Jeff) just planned to do it on our no drive day. I have already picked up his paperwork and now I’m on my way back home. Once I get there I’ll get some other stuff and get a taxi to take me to another place where I need to go to try to expedite Sam’s birth certificate. I don't know how to get there so a taxi is a good option.
We had a great visit from my parents last week and this week we are back to school. Our class schedule has changed again. They are now able to give us the extra day we were hoping for so now we will be in class for three days a week. Please keep praying for our classes. It feels like we are making some progress but still very slow.
