Weekly update 2/20/08
4 More boxes packed, plane tickets purchased, and home rented!!!
Praise The Lord, now we have 7 total boxes packed. Our packing process continues with the boxes coming out between 75 and 100 lbs. It still feels like there is a million things to pack but I really believe we are on the down hill side of the box packing.
We did receive word this week that the property management company has found us a tenant for our home here in Indiana. So this Saturday some folks from our church will be coming to help us move from our home to our family’s cabin next door. We will move into the cabin and continue getting it ready to be a vacation rental after we leave. This is exciting news but it has made the box packing process a little more difficult.
Finally we have now also purchased official tickets. Lord willing we will be leaving out of Atlanta GA. April 18th at 12:30 in the afternoon. This will put us into Manila at 11:00 pm the 19th local time, 12:00 noon Atlanta time. All in all it looks like about 24 hours of travel.
Please keep praying for our departure fund. We still have quite a bit that we need.
