Weekly update 1/14/08
This week in the Life of Jeff and Heather.
Quick Apology:
This page is supposed to be a weekly update and I apologize because I have let circumstances make it much less frequent than that. I apologize for that and thank you for your prayers.
Update: We have now enjoyed celebrating Christmas with Jeff’s parents and also Heather’s parents. Our travels over the Holidays were safe and comfortable. God has been gracious to us in providing a very reliable vehicle to use for our traveling. Our car continues to give us problems and we are just to near leaving to invest in a newer car, but God is using some people to provide a vehicle for distance traveling that is much nicer than our car. Praise The Lord.
We are now home and getting back into the thick of planning and preparing to leave. Our support is right at 89% so we are still praying for the rest of it to come in soon. (Roughly another 300.00 per month)
While visiting Heather’s parents we were able to spend a good deal of time with a couple that are considering partnering with us as team mates. Please keep praying for direction in their lives as they make decisions in this area.
This coming weekend we have a short missions conference about 3 hours from home in a church that already supports us. We praise God for the opportunity to continue to build friendships with the people of that church. Our plans for the rest of the month are centered around getting our home ready to leave. Please pray for wisdom and strength as several projects need decisions and work.
