weekly update 10/20/09
Not a lot to tell about last week. We did our normal studying and such. Enjoyed services with Cross and Crown on Sunday. One thing different is that the pastor of Cross and Crown who has been in the States on Furlough has been back for a visit. It is only a visit to encourage the church and take care of some of his own visa work. At the end of the month he will be returning to the States to finish up securing his wife’s citizenship there. While he has been here we have been able to get together with him a few times and really enjoyed the fellowship.
This coming Thursday the men of the church are having a men’s fellowship and they have asked me to bring the devotional so I am excited and honored to do that.
The rest of this week we will also be watching the weather closely again. There is another major typhoon out in the ocean that has potential to cause more problems for the Philippines. Please keep us in your prayers concerning this new typhoon. Also please be praying for those who have not even begun to recover from the previous storms damage.
