weekly update 10/14/09
God is very gracious to us. We came through the second typhoon without any ill effects. We praise God for his goodness to us. So many suffered loss due to these two storms we feel truly blessed and unworthy to be so protected. Our visitors arrived safely and we had an enjoyable visit with them.
The exciting news for this week is that we finished up Sams visa saga. He is now a legal dependant on our visa and has his own I Card. We are so glad for this to be completed for a little while. Of course it took so long to get done that everything expires the first of February. So on the first of January we will start the renewal process. We have been told that renewal is easier than initial application. We pray that is correct. So in essence we get a 2 ½ month break from immigration. Then we start over again.
The rest of this week is back to language study and things like that.
Please keep praying for us but also for the thousands of people who were displaced by the landslides and flooding caused by these past two typhoons.
