Weekly update 10/1/07
This week in the life of Jeff and Heather:
This past weekend we traveled down to Dale Bible Church in southern Indiana. We celebrated their 20th anniversary with them. It was an enjoyable day of seeing and hearing how God has led them and used them in the community for the past 20 years. Nearly 5 years ago this church was the first missions conference we participated in. There were also people from some other churches in the area all of whom we were glad to see and fellowship with. It was so encouraging to Heather and I to see so many people who remembered us and many of them even mentioned that they prayed for us often. We are so grateful to God for our prayer supporters. As far as the car we think it is fine now but there was a very gracious family in our home church that loaned us a much nicer vehicle for the drive. We praise God for generous individuals who help us all the time. From financial donations to logistical help with vehicles and other things, to prayer support; Heather and I both feel we have a wonderful support base.
The end of this week I (Jeff) will be leaving for a missions conference in Michigan. I will leave on Friday and will not return till the following Thursday. Due to the length of travel and the busy season at Heather’s job she will not be joining me on this trip. Please pray for both of us during this time. Please pray specifically for me as I drive. I tend to struggle with sleep when driving long distances alone.
