Bowed in prayer.

June Update

Dear praying friends,

Thank you for your prayers through the month of May. May is always a special month for Heather and I, because it is the month when we get to celebrate our anniversary. We have now been married 6 years. This May was just as enjoyable as the previous 6 but this one was definitely busy. We had two deputation meetings out of town, and I filled pulpit for one of our sending churches the last Sunday of the month. It was tiring to have a schedule as full as that, especially since I worked the Saturday before and the Monday after all three meetings. Two of the meetings were far enough that we left after work on Saturday and drove at least most of the way on Saturday night. God provided somewhere for us to stay both times with no cost to us. We do say thank you to the Association of Independent Baptist Churches of Illinois for letting us stay at their headquarters one night.

Our anniversary was the 22nd which actually fell on a Sunday when we had a meeting. God has been gracious and given me a wife who is understanding, and we celebrated 6 years together while sharing our burden for the Philippines. By the grace of God, we will celebrate more anniversaries in the Philippines than in the States.

The month of June doesn’t really hold a lot of meetings for us, but we are planning to make profitable use of the time. Our presentation is getting dated, and we actually want to change some of the wording in the audio track that goes with it. That will take some time and help from friends to accomplish.

Praise the Lord! Our support has gone up some due to the addition of a private individual who has pledged to support us. We are very grateful to the churches and individuals for allowing God to use them to minister to us. We do ask you to continue praying for our support. We are also still praying for God to send team members to work with us. I do not know who God is preparing to work with us but I know He is preparing somebody. We just have to be patient and wait to see who they are.

Again, thank you for your prayers this past month, and for the prayers you will send home for us this coming month.

Striving to Glorify God,
Jeff and Heather Stutzman
