Car / house Update 1/11/11
You all prayed, we prayed, and God provided. We have searched for months. We test drove many different vehicles of various makes and models, and we also had a friend (Dani) looking for us who did the same. This last weekend the search ended. Our friend Dani found one that was lower mileage and a better price than anything we had found previously. Monday afternoon I went and met the sellers with the money and Dani helped us with the paperwork and the deal was done. Sam started a flu bug Friday night and just as he was getting over it we both got it, so we have all been sick in the middle of purchasing this vehicle. Thank you all for your prayers, it has been a long 3 month search but we believe God has led us, and we have the one He wants us to have. There is a quite long and somewhat dramatic story and if you want it all just send me an e-mail and I’ll give you the “rest of the story.”
We also received word on the house in Dagupan just today. Right now we are hearing that it will be empty on February 15th and available March 1st. Right now we are planning to drive up on Feb 16th to get a last quick look and work out details with the landlord. We praise God for this development and ask that you please keep praying for this as it is not yet a done deal.
