Weekly update 12-18-08
Samuel Joseph Stutzman was born at 8:02am Friday Dec 12.
Weight 6 lb 1 oz
Length just over 19in
Samuel is doing great and is perfectly Healthy according to the doctors. Long story but the delivery was not the smoothest. Heather is pretty sore but managed to over doo it the first few days after release from the Hospital so she pulled out two of her stitches and had to have them replaced today. Now she is taking it a little easier. Please pray for her. Right now with Her parents visiting it is very difficult to just take it easy she really wants to be doing stuff.
Heather's Parents arrived about 1:00 am on the 17th and are now enjoying spending time with us and Samuel. The apartment is pretty crowded with all of us in here but it is nice to have family here with us over the Christmas Holiday.
Visa Notes.
Just before Samuel arrived we were able to take the next step towards our Visas. Now we are back to waiting. Please keep praying for this "final" (hopefully) step.
Thank you all for your prayers.

update 12-10-08
Visa Status:We received our registered letter from immigration telling us to come in for our interview but the date was the 18th which is one day after Heathers due date. So we went ahead and went to immigration and they allowed us to do the interview early. Now we will need to wait for another 1-3 months for the final approval, but this time we have a phone number we can keep calling to see if it is done. Thanks for your prayers concerning our visas.
Baby Status:
Could be any day now!
Language School Status:
On hold for now due to baby and visitors.
We are making the final few adjustments to our home to accommodate not only Heathers parents but also our baby who should be coming any day now. Heather continues to have very few side effects from the pregnancy. She is feeling tired and ready to be done carrying a bubble in her middle.
Thank you all for your prayers.

weekly update 12-2-08
Visa Status:Applied for and waiting for contact from Immigration…going to immigration office next week to check on progress and get extensions for our tourist visas.
Baby Status:
Healthy and bouncing around in Heathers belly. Final ultrasound showed every thing healthy. Some things showed a little small which is OK since they baby has another week or two before its supposed to be ready. We are now just waiting for Heathers body and the baby to be ready.
Language School Status:
With the baby getting closer and much going on right now we have decided to pause formal classes until after the baby is born. We have lots of vocabulary that we are going to be working on between now and when we restart classes.
Our visitors have left.
Our visit from the Lakes was a very enjoyable week. The fellowship was fun and they were very encouraging. We discussed plans and such and they had some helpful insight. This visit will be a regular yearly visit and we will continue to look forward to it.
Thank you all for your prayers.
